If theres one thing that rarely fails to pick me up it’s taking pics. After a particularly rough day I headed into town and these are just two of my faves of today. At first I thought I was going to draw a blank but I plonked myself down by the fountains and within minutes I was drawn in by the atmosphere. I really enjoyed taking these. Totally natural and unprovoked responses of people having fun. Lovely

I like to try and take photo’s occasionally that can mean whatever you want them to and have many interpretations. This, to me, is an example of that.
Many of my photographs are just me taking a photo of whatever I like to but an awful lot of them have meaning behind the image.

I’m a huge fan of black and white photography and this photo remains one of my favourites to this day. It was taken at the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield. I was thrilled to capture this child so fascinated with the fountain there. True childhood innocence and discovery.

I love people watching and it’s fast becoming a fresh new interest of mine photography-wise. I don’t like to invade peoples privacy so many of my shots are similar to this if they contain people though I’m hoping to experiment with expression and street photography in the future as I gain confidence. I love naturally caught photo’s.
This couple really struck me and I loved how the womans coat struck such a contrast on a grey day. I’m glad this came out!
